Sarah Jayne Dunn to launch sex podcast with Rhian Sugden

Former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn is launching a steamy new podcast about sex with glamour model Rhian Sugden.

The actress has described the podcast as a “super natural progression” after she became a hit on adults-only subscription service OnlyFans during the pandemic.

The pair will co-host the show, called Hot And Bothered, where they will talk openly and honestly about a wide range of bedroom-related taboo subjects.

Sarah announced the podcast, which will be available on all platforms from Tuesday May 10, with an Instagram post late on Friday night.

Page 3 model Rhian, 35, only met Sarah a few months ago when she reached out to support her after the 40-year-old was sacked by the Channel 4 soap for refusing to quit her OnlyFans account.

But the pair instantly clicked and got straight to work on their new project.

Alongside promotional artwork on Instagram for the new podcast, Sarah wrote: “The last few months have been a whirlwind for me, in the best and most exciting way.

“I’ve been pushed out of my comfort zone, been made to make unexpected decisions, grown in confidence, started the journey to finding out who I am and what I want and I’ve met some incredible people, specifically women, along the way.

“I’ve found my voice and been given the freedom to have conversations I was too afraid to have previously, therefore this felt like a super natural progression, to help open up the more taboo conversations to others in our new Podcast ‘Hot and Bothered.”

Sarah opened an account on OnlyFans during the pandemic when work for her became difficult to find.

She was given an ultimatum by disapproving Hollyoaks bosses who told her to choose between the soap or her X-rated subscription account. Sarah, who has played Mandy Richardson on Hollyoaks on-and-off since 1996, chose the latter.

Her Insta post continued: “I met Rhian when she reached out to me amongst the controversy that last year brought, she was kind and supportive and we hit it off straight away.

“It seemed only natural to shoot together and we shared a lot of the same opinions and had so much in common that I knew she was the perfect Co-host for the podcast.”
