The AFL’s All-Australian team; Oliver and Miller win award; Daicos rising star


While his output might’ve fallen just short of the likes of Essendon champion John Coleman and Fitzroy legend Haydn Bunton snr, who kicked 100 goals and won a Brownlow in their respective debut campaigns, Nick Daicos has hit the ground running.

The 19-year-old, who was unlucky not to be named in the 44-man All-Australian squad, has been one of the driving forces behind Collingwood’s fairytale surge to a top-four spot this year.

The son of club champion Peter, and brother of Collingwood star Josh, came into the system with huge wraps after producing some dominant performances at underage level.
